This is my interpretation of a painting by Rachel Deacon, Reclining Woman. Ms. Deacon is a very successful London artist. She focuses mainly on the female figure as self assured and provocative. Her work is so yummy, you must take a look!

I painted this in 2006 when I was only coping work I admired. They are never exact copies, nor were they meant to be. I used them as teaching exercises and still enjoy that process.

I love this painting, it is one of my personal favorites.
