Dottie, I'm so proud of you and so honored that you choose me to paint the cover! Who would have ever thought in 1959 when we met, that 51 years later this would happen? OMG! Thank you also for your generous payment I received "for this honor"! The painting is my gift to you as congratulations for your 4th publication. Well done!

Welcome Beckie! I was really missing your art work. You have a fantastic job with this painting....The colors and the shadow of coconut tree is well done!
I've been so worried, Beckie! I am ever hopeful that you will be back and posting and painting again. Congratulations to you for being chosen to create for your best friend's book! It is fabulous!
And great to see you back. The book and your illustration....how super! And your delightful kid and pet painting are posted and linked on Windows to the Words Art. Thanks so much for participating.
Congratulations, Beckie! Your painting captures the spirit of the Main Street Bridge beautifully (I had no idea it had another official name). I'm glad you are back to blogging and that you feel so positive about 2010. All my best to you, with hugs.
